You can apply for a PF claim online only when you have a UAN number, PAN number, Aadhaar number and bank account number. Before, go for the procedure do check your details and if you’re find anything wrong on any of the document so do hurry for the correction. Nowadays you are not required to visit to various offices and wait for the officers to listen you and then start your required work to be done.

But now you can do this correction from your house just by clicking on official websites of the department for which you are required to do correction. If you want to do change in PAN number info then go to Income tax department website it will redirect you to next steps. On the other hand if you want to correct information related to aadhar card then you have to visit the www.uidai.gov.in website.

In this way you can update your details by yourself. Along with this, if there is any kind of mismatch in the card then you will not be able to get the claim. If all three cards have a slight miss-match in the name, then you will not be able to have claim.

10 day time limit for claim settlement

Retirement fund manager EPFO has reduced the deadline for settlement of PF withdrawals, pension and insurance, means giving big relief to the employees. Earlier this time limit was 20 days, which has been now done for 10 days. Also don’t forget to check your EPF balance on regular basis. 

In July 2015, the Employ Provident Fund Organization gave the deadline for EPF settlement to 20 days, giving comfort to its 4 million subscribers. EPFO has started online claim settlement facility from May 1, 2017. There is a plan that all those EPF accounts which are linked to the Aadhaar number are linked to the bank account, for three hours after getting the EPF settlement application.

EPF Claim And Complain Settlement Time Limit

The EPFO issued the statement saying that the settlement deadline is 10 days and the settlement of complaints will be 15 days. These are the new features which have been done in the EPFO Citizen’s Charter, 2017 which was launched by the Lever Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday.
